Hei! Welcome to Scandilicious, a blog about cooking, baking and living with Scandinavian flair. I'm a food writer and cook who grew up in Norway and now live in London. After training at Leiths School of Food and Wine, I worked in some of the UK’s top restaurants and I have a Masters in the Anthropology of Food from SOAS, a degree in Social Anthropology from Cambridge and have written about Scandinavian food for Waitrose Drinks, Sainsbury’s Magazine and delicious. Magazine. Saltyard Books published my first book Secrets of Scandinavian Cooking…Scandilicious in 2011 and my next book is Scandilicious Baking (out in July 2012). For more Scandi updates do have a gander on twitter and follow me @scandilicious, check out my #EatScandi supper and brunch club for more Scandilicious treats. Non-Scandinavian interests include Japanese food, anything on a barbecue, fermentation and curing, the notion of terroir and food security. I have something of an obsession with cardamom and would like to see the ubiquitous cupcake replaced with spelt cinnamon buns.
Available to UK residents only
